Mattawan Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) serves students in Young Fives, Head Start, Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). The organization of the school accommodates the developmental needs of young children and provides for the continuous progress of all students.
We work hard to "make big small", providing each child with a nurtured, yet rigorous, individualized environment. Children receive instruction in music, art, physical education, library skills, and technology/media skills.
We warmly invite your family to connect with us to learn more, schedule a tour, and discover how your little Wildcat Cub will flourish and grow in our enriching Pre-K programs! All of our programs are under the dedicated oversight of our Early Childhood Center principal, Dr. Williams, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence. Housing Pre-K programs in the same building creates a seamless and supportive transition for young students and ensures a smooth and familiar transition for our smallest Wildcats as they move into their next grade, fostered by the care and guidance they've come to know.
